Worth Noting…
When the Royal Family are in residence at Balmoral Castle (usually in August and September), it will not be possible to enter the castle, although you can still see the building from the gates. Buckingham Palace is usually open to the public from 5 August to 24 September (when the Queen is at Balmoral). Any departures that do not take place during this period will have a tour of the Royal Mews instead. A tour of Braemar Castle is included when we are unable to visit Balmoral.

Excellent tour guide and driver, interesting locations however some aspects of the tour were not well planned -for example free time in Ballater on a Sunday afternoon when all businesses are closed. Missed out seeing why the royal seal had been bestowed on their goods. Most accommodations were superior although hotel in London was subpar based upon previous Blue-Roads experiences.
