Here at Blue-Roads, we pride ourselves on delivering truly unique travel experiences through expert local knowledge, carefully curated experiences and hand-picked boutique accommodation.
Inspired by historian and travel writer William Least Heat-Moon, who embarked on a 13,000-mile journey across North America taking only the local roads marked in blue on his map, Blue-Roads specializes in taking passengers on the road less traveled. We call it ‘the Blue-Roads Difference’.
With a maximum of 18 passengers per tour, our guests travel in luxury air-conditioned mini-coaches designed to travel the narrow side streets and back roads that larger tour groups simply can’t reach.

Local Experiences
We’re able to deliver authentic local experiences, like taking you to the famous SchafbergBahn cog railway on the Essence of Austria tour, or introducing you to the freshest seafood you’ve ever tasted on the Slow Food Tour of Puglia in Italy.
Each one of our tours is guided by an expert Tour Leader, who immerses the group in the culture, cuisine and history of each unique place we visit on our award-winning tours – whether in Europe, the UK or Asia.
