Stay in Thoughtfully Selected Accommodation
There’s no sharing on a Blue-Roads tour. We always allocate our solo guests their own double rooms, although they may differ in size depending on the specific property. Most of the accommodation we use is small and bursting with unique local charm. Having your very own space to retreat to each night allows you to have some independence and privacy while still enjoying the many benefits of a small group tour.

Traveling alone is great – but traveling with a small group is even better. Our tours feature a lovely mix of couples and solo guests who all share the same curiosity and passion for travel. Each escape begins with a wonderful welcome meal, too, so you can get to know your fellow travelers from day one.

Why do we charge a single supplement fee?
Blue-Roads tours provide genuine local experiences and an exceptional level of comfort on the road. Our 25% single supplement allows you to enjoy the benefits of group travel but with the luxury of having your own space to relax in at the end of each day. The fee covers the cost of your private room and allows us to maintain our high accommodation standards.
Where do I find the single supplement fee?
You can view our single supplement fee on our Dates and Prices pages. Simply click on the ‘See trip details and deals’ arrow on your chosen tour date. The fee will also appear on your booking when you add your passenger details.
How can I save on my solo tour?
Booking a shoulder season escape can help bring the cost of your solo adventure down. That’s because our spring and fall departures are typically 10% lower in price than those during the peak summer months.
