Superior because of the guide.

The tour was great. Glad of only 12. Glad mostly two night stays and one three night. Glad for mostly 9a starts. Glad of the lovely tour guide and great driver. Hotels met all expectations! No complaints.

Excellent and authentic experience with this tour. Manu was a wonderful guide. She was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful to everyone on the tour. The tour was well planned and the dinners were good. The only downside was a poor choice of hotels in two cities: Paris and Beaune. Elsewhere, the hotels were good. Our driver was also good. Loved being on the backroads whenever possible and being given adequate but not too much free time. A really good mix of guided and independent opportunities to experience the places visited. The wineries were excellent with good guides who represented their wineries well.

This tour was more than we could ever have expected. Well organized and we learned so much about the history of France. We give most of the credit to success of tour to our tour guide Nathalie Verhulst as she was always there with answers, suggestions for restaurants and just everything else including more laughs than we could ever have expected.
We have read other reviews of Blue Roads tours that were not terribly flattering and feel it must be due to the tour guide selected by the company.
When we were in Annecy we asked her why we couldn't have stayed there instead of Chambéry. She said she had put that suggestion forward to the company a while back and then one of our group informed us that it was now listed as the overnight spot on the 2025 tour.
Also we visited a bakery and we felt that could be replaced with something else and it would appear in 2025 than you have done that. Apparently Blue Roads listens and evaluates suggestions put forward.
We are contemplating a tour in Portugal in 2025 and Blue Roads is on our list, however, there were some not very nice things said about that tour.
Lodgings, food and the bus are also very important to your customers and we know you must be always looking at those things to try to make them the best for your customers.

Tour was amazing. Lots of interesting stops in between destinations. Loved the winery lunch and all the old cities and churches.
Early communication and correspondence was lacking.

same comment as before and France in May is a nightmare. Every weekend is a holiday nothing was open.
