Amazing tour! We saw so much and learned many things we wouldn’t have gotten to on our own. We will definitely go on another Blue Roads tour!

This is not a tour for those with limited mobility of any kind as there is no porterage service to/from hotels, bags must be loaded on an off trains by tour members and the terrain is usually uneven. It is also not a tour to be combined with Blue Road's Vistas of Italy and Switzerland, as we did, as Mountain Valleys and Lakes visits many of the same Switzerland locations. Although the Swiss scenery is wonderful in both tours, we suggest only one be taken. If only one, our vote is for Vistas of Italy and Switzerland as porterage service is included.

Our Guide, Melinda, was excellent. The itinerary itself was well presented. Everything was well planned and executed.

Loved the village of Appenzell! And of course the Jungfrau annd nearby Trummelbach waterfall were spectacular. Also enjoyed the Alphorn maker. The Schweizerhof hotel in Bern was pretty special! Unfortunately it meant the next hotel in Wengen was a big disappointment. Our guide, Mel was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to listen to… she didn’t overload us with information, She interacted well with all the guests. So many great memories from the trip.
