Like the small bus. Tour guide, Edward Ashe was very informative and knowledgeable. Driver Jordan was great and a wonderful driver. Places visited were appropriate. Hotels were nice but the one in Paris was HORRIBLE - no air conditioning and no internet 😜. We were on the understanding that all passengers were going to be left there, but all the others except 3 had other accommodations. If we had known that, we certainly would have changed hotels. Also, we booked on Blue Roads and the others booked on Back Roads. Why the difference? Very confusing at first.

The tour was great our guide (Ted) was extremely knowledgeable.
I was a little annoyed that I didn't get to walk up to Corfu castle as we were too late. The town was lovely as the hotel. The Channel Islands were so very very interesting really enjoyed my time there. Our driver suggested we see the Crystal Chuch in Jersey. Not happy about catching the ferry to France at 8pm? and arriving at our hotel in St Malo at 12am. Another suggestion from our driver (Jordan) was we drive by the Escape to the Chateau in France. Both should/must be included in any future tours.
The hotel we were dropped off in Paris left a lot to be desired..no a/c, no wifi, and we had to pay 5pounds for each night. We were there 3 nights times 2 people equals 30+pounds and it had to be cash as no internet. The hotel had been prepaid. The hotel is so far from anything interesting. The other tour guests were dropped of in various other places I didn't know that was an option.

Tour in an air conditioned minibus with frequent stops to see things ranging from zoo to cathedral. I guess we lucked out with 16 congenial travel companions too - mainly from Down Under.

This tour was significantly better than I had hoped it would be. It had been delayed several times over a few years as my husband got ill, then died, then a bone-break in my foot forced still another cancellation. But I found Back Roads/Blue Roads a wonderful organization to work with and the specific product of this trip to be a personalized pleasure.
Office and on-tour staff were kind and considerate to work with. Our needs had been thoughtfully considered in advance. Riding a comfy bus and traveling on a variety of ferry boats were all really pleasant experiences. Meals were good, hotels were very nice and well-chosen. I hope to tour with your organization again. My fellow passengers/tourists seemed as a group to reflect back to our guide and driver the kindness and consideration and flexibility they showed us. Carolyn and Alex were both great, well-vetted and helpful above and beyond the basic care. Interesting, pleasant people. Maybe you get SIX (6) stars!

Great tour guide, Tony was great and Carolyn was full of added information. Gordon our driver was excellent . Felt very safe and bus was comfortable. Hotel accommodations were good. Provided meals were also very good. Would recommend this tour. Only thing that was disruptive was the ferry change due to the tides. Very long day on a boat, but we still got all the sites we needed to see!

An excellent Blue Roads experience except for the issues related to the ferries, which I know is beyond the company's control, and the final day on Jersey spent driving around the island when there is the Samares Manor & garden, the Hamptonne Country Life Museum, le Moulin de Quetivel, the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
