We saw beautiful places and stayed in wonderful hotels. Our guide, Guillermo, was very knowledgeable. He took especially good care of us. He even took us to get tapas and educate us on how to order. He checked every day to make sure our rooms were satisfactory.

We walked on different parts of Camino. We rode to top of mountain in cable car. We dined in a cave. It was just an outstanding trip.

We really enjoyed getting off the main tourist areas to see a bit of the β€œreal” Spain and Portugal. Learning about the history of this region and of the Camino was an added plus. We also appreciated the small group nature of the trip, something which drew us to this tour in the first place. Our guide, Guillermo, was extremely enthusiastic and his love of history and the area is apparent (also the fact that he has actually walked the Camino several times himself πŸ‘πŸ‘).

One of our group had an accident the last day of the tour, and the rest of us waited for an update, which didn't come until we got on the bus 2 hours later to end the trip in Bilbao. No one at B.R. answered the emergency phone line, nor the customer service line on a Friday morning. And of course, the end of the trip was cancelled.
