Wieliczka Salt Mine
No visit to Kraków would be complete without a visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the world’s oldest operating salt mines. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Wieliczka Salt Mine, built in the 13th century, is a prized national monument and features dozens of statues and four chapels carved out of rock salt by miners.
